Obviously he doesn't feel that way. He was asked if he wanted to tour with Transatlantic on their tour as an all-round guy doing some extras, and he took the offer with pride as he thought of the guys from Transatlantic as a great band. He's not part of the usual line-up and he did this as an honorary gesture. Also it's Roine, not Doine :P But yea, he's a better singer in my opinion as well.

It kills me to see Daniel backstage doing nothing. honestly, he's a better vocalist than Neal & Doine put together, and a better musician in my opinion.

What is the keyboard patch Neal uses in his keyboard solo at 3:54? Is it a hammond organ patch?

@kingofbaramagna Haha yeah looks wierd! Maybe he is playing a tom on the 32nd note drills? Looks like snare from that angle though... :P

@TheWhite1961 I'm just assuming this : i think he feels better having a guy like Neil Morse in the band, one that cand pick up all that comes along with creating great music, exactly the role that Mike played in DT (not trying to undermine the greatness of petrucci, rudess, myung and labrie). And about the song/dvd : best music ever, no doubt.

@Zackathor One of my faves also. I have seen them at 04. May in Frankfurt. It was an incredible concert. At this evening I saw in Portnoys eyes that he feel better in this band than in Dream Theater.
