I am glad TSO are doing this magnificent composition. As was stated, this gets passed along to many people who never heard of Savatage before this.

Not only is this an amazing performance but you freakin' moron's than want to try to make comparison's to the original completely miss the point! The simple fact that there is a whole new world and generation of people who will now hear this masterpiece that was ahead of it's time should be enough to celebrate! But having said that, the performance was awesome and equally as hard by all definitions of "hard" but the production value was off the charts! As for the vocals.....as much as I loved Paul back in the day, this guy can run circles around him and his conclusion was nothing short of stellar!!! I was in a band on the verge of massive success when Nirvana hit and I know what I'm talking about! This is spectacular on every level possible and a huge feather in the cap for early metal! Dress it up under a different name and EVERYONE loves it! NUFF SAID!!!

I loved Savatage back in the day. Steve Wacoltz was a great drummer and friend, so was bass player Johnny Lee Middleton. Good people!

I'm seeing them for the 4th time tonight in the U.S. and haven't seen them play this. And as far as I know, they're not playing it tonight. It's a real shame they don't keep it in the set, regardless of who sings it.

The music is very good but the vocals just aren't there. No passion or edge at all. Disappointed.

Clost but it still misses the mark Cris and Jon Oliva were the heart and soul of this great Savatage classic, and for the record Savatege made it heavier. I know TSO is for an older audience, I have seen them live in 04 Tucson, Az. and I was surprised by how many older people were there grooving to some heavy metal so to speak, Lol. this singer is not that great, sorry he is pitchy.

...and Jeff Plate. This basically IS Savatage, minus Zach and/or Jon.

I love TSO's original music, but I am hoping there next album has a lot of the older Savatage music on it. Would love to see more of this type of music played in the United States on their next tour. Classic, LONG LIVE TSO AND SAVATAGE!
