I "discovered" Tracy in 1969 or 1968... I am pretty sure I now own every LP she published and will continue to gather up her performances until she finally lays down easy. I make a point of turning people on to this great talent every chance I get.

I want her to upload Going Back To Tennessee..I used to do that with my band in the early 70's and I'm trying to get the band I know to do it with me

I have never heard Tracy until now. She's amazing... I found a link to this video at Edwin McCain's website because the awesome guitarist in the video, Larry Chaney, is Edwin's lead guitarist for years and I love his style..He was so young in this one... He and I talked guitars once....a nice guy with on hell of an Ibanez...

My history with Tracy goes back to Mother Earth days, late '60's. She will always strengthen me.

Great cover of a great Mitty Collier song! Tracy comes close to the original.. but nobody will ever beat Mitty.

Go to Tracy's website and post a query on her message board. There may be someone who can help you out. YouTube doesn't like it whenyou list URLs but you can guess the address for the TN site.

This woman has been giving me chills since I picked up her very first vinyl blues album. Nobody does it better and she's just gotten better and better with age.

Her vinyl albums come up for sale on ebay from time to time. The only one I know of that's been released on CD is the phenomenal "Breaking All The Rules", released in 1988. I found a used copy of that one through Amazon. Either way, her released output is well worth searching for. If anyone knows of any new or recent releases by Ms. Davidson, I would appreciate the information.

Linda and Tracy have recorded together on more than one occasion. And of course, Linda recorded Tracy's "Down So Low." I'm so glad that you've discovered Tracy and appreciate her great talent. Tracy has over 23 albums to her credit (both solos and as part of the 60s/70s band Mother Earth). There's a lot to explore out there.

I had the pleasure of hearing Tracy sing this song at a "Blues Broads" concert this past Memorial Day. She sounds just as good more than 20 years later - if not better - than she did in this clip. The woman's talent is astonishing.
