I was born June of 1997. I've played and beat this game many times. One of my favorite games of all time. This theme makes me cry everytime.

Kinda sad to think that millions of people have never heard this... or have no idea the moving scenes it came from... I hope Square does a great job in the remake and just nails it on every level... so that the millions who have never seen or heard of this game finally get to taste the sweetness of FF7.

Listening to this and other FF music gets me rather emotional. I think it's because it reminds me of that experience I had in my life that just felt completely perfect; a time when I felt immune to people who were small, dull and disappointing. And I guess from that, I grew up believing that the trade-off for falling for Final Fantasy was becoming some sort of anti-social shut-in, a person who had divorced themselves from everybody else and become totally alone. In November 2014, I went to see Arnie Roth's chamber orchestra perform some new renditions in London with Nobuo Uematsu in attendance. The minute my arse hit the seat I struck up a lively conversation with a complete stranger which inadvertently helped convert a skeptic friend I'd brought along into giving the series a try. She is now on her way to completing FFIII. So, I was wrong: I'm not alone. And that's probably the main message I've taken away from these games. Doesn't get much better than that.

When I die, I would like to be buried somewhere, and this song would be played. A peaceful ending for my life. :)
