@chaosdragonz1 I'm using a Tama Starclassic Maple bass drum with a remo powersonic skin. It's tuned to a medium tension so you get plenty of omph but some clicky-ness too. I'm also using drum samples to augment the sound. This is done in Logic Pro 9. Louis Sellers

i gotta say youre good. ive watched a few of your videos. the one problem i have, and other comments have said it, you arent putting enough energy into it. at least on this song. there are a lot of songs that call for a mellow approach, but this is one of those jams where the drum part is meant to be slammed on you know. keep going man. youre pretty good

drummer can do just as much if not more and stay under control keep tempo and use less energy therefore improving tempo throughout the concert. Louis knows what he's doing I've preformed and watched drummers for years and its easy to say he knows what he's doing. Keep it up man!

I have been playing drums for about 8 years now and i must disagree very strongly with the other comments on this page as i recieved lessons for quite some time and learned that all the waving arms and giant motions on stage mean nothing I can get the same level of sound as well as speed both much more in control as any arm flapping drummer on stage and use much less energy.
