Such a great album! I had a copy of The Brave and the Bold several years ago, but it was stolen. I remembered it this evening and just ordered a copy of the CD on amazon since it's not on Spotify. I think if more people knew about this album it would have very broad appeal. I like the sincerity of it and the crazy sounds and timbres they pull together. They're just excellent musicians covering excellent songs and it comes together very well.

I don't love it - but, any good cover should send you back to the original for a new perspective not be an imitation. To that degree it's a good cover.

I wholeheartedly disagree. I like Tortoise, I like Bonnie "Prince" Billy, and I love Bruce Springsteen and "Thunder Road," but I just can't really get into this cover at all. The original "Thunder Road" is a classic, this version is just semi-decent.
