Is she pregnant in this video? Sure does look like it.. Hmm..wasn't sure she even had a baby.. I think this version is not near as emotion filled as past versions I hv heard. I believe the surgery she had was absolutely unnecessary ..why would she even consider it when god made her So naturally stunning, why, why, why??? I feel like I don't recognize her now. That in my opinion was really a wrong turn for her.

Every day I thank God that Tori Amos got a record deal. She has been my biggest inspiration for 14 years. We are so fortunate to live in a time when women are given the opportunity to perform and distribute their own compositions.

Well, "Night of Hunters" was a pleasant surprise. It is lushly produced because it's based on classical music, but I wouldn't say it's overproduced. This said - I agree, she should release stuff like this !

Okay, that was very different from the original, but I FELT IT. I don't know for the life of me why she doesn't release these recordings instead of her more recent studio albums which are just overproduced to the point of ruin.

I would buy every single live performance that is on youtube that should've been for sale... Such amazing talent :)

It is such a shame these recordings are not for sale and we just have to listen to them on YouTube....

To be fair, this is an 18 year old song (and damn that makes me feel old lol.) I don't think it's that she isn't in love with music. I think it's more than she no longer feels the intense emotion that this song was written to express at that time. She's more in love with the sonic experimentation and sound of the new arrangement than with the song itself. If you held a gun to my head, I'd choose the 1996 performance too. But only because it was still new and emotionally resonant then.

while i appreciate the new composition of this song, i'm going to have to say that i'm a little disappointed.... the fast tempo feels like she just wants to get it over with and there's hardly any emotion in it. if you really want to appreciate the beauty of this song, you're going to have to go back in time, and watch her sing it here: "tori amos hey jupiter mtv unplugged 1996 hd" (please search since we can't embed links) now that's tori at her best... in love with singing her music...
