I think they're just too hung up on "old AFI" and don't give it a chance. To me, all AFI takes some getting used to as each album is different from the last. When I first heard Crash Love, I didn't like it, but it quickly grew on me and this is one of the best songs from it. The same goes for The Art of Drowning, I hated it and was hung up on Black Sails but now, T.A.O.D. is one of my favorite albums of all time.11 years ago
