Danny Carey is a badass drummer. I did notice the bass sequence was backwards and they didn't need to double bass most of this. Then again it is a tutorial, but a pretty cool idea. I give it a thumbs up just because I haven't seen this done by anybody. But if you want to learn this song this doesn't help to much.

There should be a system of notation for doubles, triplets, flams, etc. Would expand the information shown.

Actually the EZdrummer program alternates the bass drums every hit regardless of how many beats there are for the bass drum, so there's nothing you can really do about that.

If people wanna learn how to play it then they know how if they watch this vid, this program kinda takes away the need to use tabs to learn a song, that's why this exists imo.

Go to toontrack's website . They list 13 programs that are compatible. If you're on a budget try Reaper or Garageband. I personally use Nuendo.

????????????????????What the fuck does that matter? Neil Pearts set isn't as big as Terry Bozzio's set. Come the fuck on man. Set size doesn't matter, obviously the more drums the more creativity with different tuned drums, but doesn't mean anything at all.

That's just how this program works. it does that no matter how you program the kick. It's based on an ergonomic algorithm.

Anyone know a good program to use for recording with EZdrummer?? The only way I have right now is to mic my speakers... And that sounds quite dreadful

You are 100% Correct, but Ezdrummer automatically alternates between bass drums visually, even though the patten was most like written on a single bass drum.
