Let's admit it: Tool will never make a real concert DVD, and I guess they have their own reasons for that. But god knows we all want one. So this is what it could look like, with HQ synced live audio, six camera angles, blackjack and hookers.

I didn't ask for any permissions to use these videos for such a remix, but I hope the owners won't mind and might even enjoy the result. Kudos to all the cameramen, and here're the titles I've used:

- Tool LIVE Jambi - Tokyo, Japan - 2013 (Ozzfest) - the main one, the very core of this "dvd"

- Tool Jambi HD Live Reno, NV 1.14.2012

- TOOL - Full Concert [HD] - Live Key Arena Seattle,WA

- Tool - Jambi - Live HD

- TOOL (2010.06.26) Missouri [1080i] [FULL-HD]

- Tool ~~ Live 2012_01_31 [HD DVD - Full_Uncut Concert]

Thanks guys!

The audio is a result of some crazy processing only an audio geek would appreciate. All you need to know is: it is absolutely unique and it is based on the band's performance at Ozzfest in 2013.

Enjoy and don't hesitate to share. And hopefully one day the band will hear our prayers after all.

Sounds like the vocals are from the studio track, but the rest of the band is indeed live. Possibly stitched together from different shows?

Maynard actually makes a statement about live-DVDs in one interview. He explains that he does not like live DVDs since they cannot capture the momentum created in a live performance and therfore also might prevent people to come to the actual show. Something around these lines.... So we might be hoping and waiting in vane. My hopes and prayers are directed towards the new Album instead :)
