The very first song that ever made me want to jump a pew! I saw them around this time at our Church. Going through a tough trial and feeling all alone in my battle.. When they sung this song I could hardly contain myself. Never one to raise a hand or shout or take a lap as I'd seen the old timers do. It was the first time in my life that I felt the power of the Holy Spirit fall on me. As tears ran down my face, my hands lifted in the air I praised him like never before. When the song was over, the looks on my kids faces I can still see today. The wonderment and the first time Mom ever let out a hoot and a holler they've never forgotten. This song still touches me to this day!

I think this was in Georgia somewhere. The guy at 1:36 was known as poppa benson and his wife mamma benson. We sang with him many times. We miss them both.

This video was recorded at Thorsby (Alabama) High School. I was the M.C. for the concert.

Does anyone know where this vid was recorded? The man at 1:36 was a local Southern Gospel promoter from my home town? His last name was Benson.

Listening and watching this great video reminds me of that night in The Whitewell Tabernacle in Belfast Northern Ireland, When Tony Gore and the young men gave us a fantastic concert. Tony, where are you now? I want to hear more of you as you are truly blessed with such a great gift. I met your Mum then as well and often think of her. God Bless you for years and years to come.
