joe henry forgive me.i listen to this song in with manilow's arrangement of the johnny mercer song, "when october goes". i live in austin texas, i am told joe does as well. it is a mix of jobim-bradbury-springsteen nature & carnival images, describing, i am sure, the tragic Labor Day 2011 fires in Bastrop Tx. just weeks before its release, is as moody and haunting a song i have ever heard. in my early 50's as of this writing, i am in the October of my life, like Joe, in reverie, but not lost.
