Firstly, I do not upload such kind of videos as I have only uploaded gaming (runescape) videos so far. However, I was totally hooked by this blues improvisation and it would be a crime if I didn't share it. So here it is. If you are interested about this artist, here is his official website. www.tommyemmanuel.com

You can download his music there. If this video will get enough views and rates, I might upload similar ones in the future. Enjoy.

He is simply the best guitar player in the world, he has so many techniques to play with and he has inspired the whole world of the way he is playing the guitar

Practice tips from super-shredder Joe Satriani - Recommended DVD: Tommy Emmanuel—Live at the Sheldon Concert Hall"Tommy Emmanuel is an Australian virtuoso acoustic guitarist, and he’s beyond amazing. He leans on the positive side—it’s all very “up” sounding—but he’s well worth checking out." Joe Satriani

In this piece he is showing off, yes: this is what this piece is intended for. I have seen Tommy Emmanuel live 3 times and I had a chance to go to a master class he was giving. He is actually by far the least egotistical player I have ever met. He is very humble and down to earth.

I agree with Calvin. Yes Tommy is a great player, but there seems to be a perception these days that great playing is 'fast' playing . Most great Blues players (inc BB King and Clapton) will tell you it is not what you play, it is what you DON'T play that is important. Whenever I see Tommy, he just crams a million notes into every song. Personally I find it tedious and with no feeeling whatsoever. Just listen to Robert Johnson, THAT is playing the blues. This is a techincal exercise, devoid of feeling. .

I have seen Tommy twice, he is amazing. Haters gonna hate, jealousy and envy are not good traits to have, if you don't like it change the channel!

The best thing about blues is that speed doesn't matter. It's all about soul. If you can combine that with technical skills, your amazing! He's amazing!!

Tommy is without doubt the best guitarist that I have heard. To put it to the point, what Tommy has achieved on the guitar is the impossible. Not only that. Tommy has perfected the impossible. If I could, I will go to as many of his shows as possible, but as a old age pensioner, I will just admire this absolute genius on my little Samsung cell. Thank you Tommy for all that you have done for guitar music. You will always be my hero.

For anyone who's seen Tommy in any of his music shows or videographies, you'll know that this is his style and is recognised world wide as a incredible talent. Whether you like it or not is your choice entirely. I've had the pleasure of meeting Tommy and he's a top guy. I've since researched all his music, his musical family history, what his music influencers were - there's a lot to go through. So, the same could be said about other players such as Joe Satriani, I think he's got a load more skill than I do, but I wouldn't necessarily buy his album, or choose to listen to it specifically. Does that mean I'd trash his ability? I think not. Fair call to say you don't like it, but don't become a troll Calvin Candy, it only shows your immaturity and lack of professional respect. I'm sure you've got skills and talent playing blues as you've stated. But even if I did know of your style, I still wouldn't trash it as much as you've done here. I've grown up listening to Tommy and his brother Phil and to me, it's pretty fantastic, but still, there are some of their work I don't like as much as others, pretty normal. Enough said from me. Just learn when to stop criticising about someone who's had a lifetime of music especially from someone as young as yourself.
