I love playing this tune. Its a a drop D tune but but no-way is it typical. Just like Tommy said. I learned it first by listening and a lot of struggling. Didn't get too far. Then Buster B. Jones DVDs came along. He definitely shows you the ropes. Then....you watch Jerry pick it right here on You Tube. Sohnn!!! Hey you pickers' out there... Lets keep this style alive and kickin'!!!! We owe it to Jerry, Chet, Tommy....they still give us a bunch of reason to!

Any 2 second run or lick that he plays would take most of us 2 weeks to master....what we dont see is the practise and thousands of hours Tommy has put in over the years....the guy is incredible.

There are a lot of good players of this style around but you can see why Tommy is the man. Not many can quite match the authority that he plays with, it just sounds right. Something I don't understand is no matter how good something is on Youtube, people still dislike it. Even if it's not you're thing surely you'd recognise talent?
