This man is an absolute genius. The music sounds as good as it did the first day I heard it.

Ravel didn't have the march/percussion at the end This was an evoking inclusion in Tomita's interpretation that really compliments the piece.

I remember buying this LP sooo many decades ago.... stirs so may emotions... though it does sound like a Montavani version...... Tomita is a genious of electronic music.... and he can capture the essence of the composer and his culture which I find amazing ....

I love this so much. It's so comforting to know someone sat alone for hours creating such beautiful music.

Search for the Pavane played by Van Cliburn. Nothing else even comes close.

What a pleasant surprise to discover this 'Pavane' piece here. I remember it from back in the early 80s as a remarkable interpretation of Ravel's music by Tomita and it certainly hasn't lost any of its impact. It is a great experience to listen to this on a proper stereo system or high quality head phones.
