If you like this kinda thing, you could check out Elisabeth Waldo and Her Concert Orchestra – Rites Of The Pagan: Mystic Realm of the Ancient Americas. It's devoid of rock influence, and it's from 1960, but the vibe is kinda similar. Also, it's just an all-round cool album. Sorry for rambling, I'm high.

This CD is underrated. Lots of people seem to consider it a blemish on Tomahawk's record. I think it's (dare I say) catchy, and brilliant. Takes the spirit of Native American music while infusing it with a bit of rock...excellent album.

It takes balls for a "supergroup" that is made up of guys from Jesus Lizard, FNM, and Helmet to release a CD of Native American songs under the same name that produced two great alt/exp rock albums. But only Patton and co. can do it and actually pull it off.
