Tom Waits - Chocolate Jesus video song cover complete with v-grind video free download

In this Video Song cover of Tom Waits' Chocolate Jesus I use a CB mic to try and get that 'v-grind' vocal tone.

I already have a raspy voice but nobody can really sound like Tom Waits right? So I cut off a CB radio mic, plugged it in, and faked it ;)

I liked the CD radio mic so much, I even recorded backup acoustic using it. That thang has a sound all its own.

Each part was recorded separately and then put together using the 'Video Song' technique where what you hear in the song is seen in the video.
