I really appreciate the song as it is but it makes me super angry, because I have been the one who can't be love one too many times... and I can't really relate to that... If I love somebody then I do with all my heart, otherwise I wouldn't even consider being together with them because I know if I would ever say 'I love you' it would be a lie and I can't do that to others. Why would somebody pretend? Why wouldn't you talk about it with your current partner that this is still a weight that you carry? Why do you just not say anything... like, if your partner really loves you they would help you to get through this together and if not, they are not worth it anyways... if that makes sense
