Actually, I am a singer and don't find it hard to sing. However it is very difficult to play on the guitar. The chords are very complex, e.g. Bb7(13) and Ab7(#11) and change every measure, sometimes twice :-( This vocal begins with repetitious D, then changes to repetitious G (D is the fifth of a G major chord) and then returns to D. In other words, it models the lyrics ;-) The end of the song is repetitious G.

In the Tom Jobim Songbook, this English translation is attributed to Jobim: This is just a little samba Built upon a single note. Other notes are bound to follow But the root is still that note. Now this new one is the consequence Of the one we've just been through As I'm bound to be the unavoidable consequence of you. The note is G. With very few exceptions it is found in every guitar chord except the bridge. The chords are very complex and change every measure, sometimes twice.
