On the case of this version versus the streetlight one,I think it is up to what mood you're in, and what mood you want to be on. Toh Kay is calming, soothing, while streetlight is like a call to arms and inspiration type vibe

This may not be one of my most played songs, and its definitely not the most fun song to listen to, but I have to hold that this is the most beautiful, meaningful song I've ever listened to. From streetlight to toh kay, it's a masterpiece that will always stick with me. <3 tomas

I respect your opinion, but I have to say its unfair to compare this to Streetlight. Neither version is mean't to be better than the other. Tomas made this version because he wanted a different sound. If he was trying to be like Streetlight, he would have called up the rest of the bandmates to perform this haha

Oh my god I never thought I would ever find a song that is better than A Better Place, A Better Time. It turns out the only thing better than abp,abt is another version of abp, abt.

It's rather interesting. I dislike how forcefully SM delivers their music, but I really find this beautiful. Same lyrics, same vocalist....but a different and, in my opinion, altogether more beautiful composition. Bravo, Toh Kay, for your versatility. I love this <3

In my own opinion... this sucks. Sorry, just stating my opinion, not even counting the other song I don't like this, but this could never stand to SM :P

I think a lot of people, myself included, forget just how good of a guitarist Tomas is.

He owns the copyright to the words and chords, but not to the recordings, they belong to the record companies.

although this is alright, I will say that his new release to be accompanied with the hands that thieve, will be much better. I listened to "with any sort of certainty" and the inclusion of bass and a bit of acoustic drums blows this out of the water. Still fantastic and heart-warming. The shittiest band in the world could cover this song and it would still be charming to watch.
