I love this song but it got me thinking, if you curse God you are blaspheming, I never cursed God, messiah even warned against such blasphemy that if you curse the son messiah you can be forgiven but blasphemy against the spirit of the father you cannot be forgiven, just by reading the old testament you know how serious this is, people were put to death because of it, I wonder why Todd put this in his lyrics, perhaps because the church portrays God as this punching bag that no matter what he will always love you which is not the case, he hates sin and hates those who blaspheme his name.
