I got the call on Friday morning may 14th that my best friend passed away.. I couldn't and didn't move out of bed till Sunday morning when I had to finally get up to go see her children. This song and 2 other make me think about my dad . I was sitting in my room on February 14 2014 it was 10:30 and I hear someone come in it was my grandma sister she had told us my dad was in the hospital he had been shot 6 times by my step mom at his house and at 12 that night they came back from the hospital and they told me he was gone. He was the nice guy you would meet. He always had a smile and he always talk to you even if he didn't know you and he would give you anything or help you out in any way possible. But he gets killed and the one who did t walks away free no court no arrests she walks away and lie to the world about it and she get married right after it . He wasn't a dad for me growing up but in the last weeks he was more of a dad they he had ever been and now it I'm about to walk across the stage to get out of high school and I just can't believe he won't be there to see walk across. My grandpa died the summer of 2009. I for some reason couldn't cry, even when I went to see him the same day before he was to be cremated. Not one tear during his funeral. I laughed and giggled during the spreading of his ashes at the old house he lived in. For months I didn't cry even tho I was sad. It wasn't till the first time heard this sound when it first came out that it kinda clicked that he wouldn't be there anymore. I cried for weeks after that and haven't stopped. It hurts to lose your best friend, and it will never stop. Every time I hear this song I cry, like he says not for him but for me. RIP Dennis Darrell Scarberry I love you and miss you so much.

I got a call on the morning of February 12, 2010, that my grandpa had lost his battle with leukemia. It hurt more than anything, because my grandparents raised me so he was more like my dad. A couple of days went by and I was listening to the radio and this song came on, after me asking God why? I took it as a sign from my grandpa that he was ok and he was at peace. I'm 37 yrs old and I'm not afraid to admit that I still need my grandpa for advice, or his opinion on things! I'm just thankful that my 3 daughters was able to meet their great grandpa and they too share memories of him! RIP grandpa

I remember watching Wayman ay OU,her was a incredible basketball player, but more important he was a incredible human being. Toby was lucky to have been part of Wayman's life.
