Soory friend, but i have to say that you don't know matt well. Is not him playing on this album. From this album to now, he's not in the band anymore - sadly. You can pay attention and realize that on that song, tha drums are simple, comparing with his playing style, that is more complex, and as you said, showing "variability", as he's in fact used to do. In this song, the drums only have a lot of double pedal..nothing else ! Matt is a great musician, but, unhapply, isn't in labyrinth anymore !

i think Matt is a little bit better,.the debut of 2003 that has the same name of the band,he kicked ass and shown a variability of diferent styles out of metal....he's a great musician!
