Hi RyRy, I have to point out that its not just about following the ten commandments.They are laws from the old covenant in which being righteous was dependent on obeying ALL of God's laws. In the old cov, if you fall short of even one law, you're guilty of breaking all the laws.We are no longer bound by the old covenant because Jesus's death on the cross. It doesn't however mean that we should break the old laws but we are now righteous by grace and live right because of His grace not our works.

All you need to do is follow the Ten Commandments and all of the Lords rules and you won't have to worry about anything else. Even when people say that you shouldn't do something but its what God wants then you shouldn't be afraid to do it, even though they may hate you afterwards it's their fault to yours.
