The 'iron Maiden' tee was a nice touch. I'm not sure wearing a tee emblazoned with the name of a blatantly satanic band is part and parcel of the Christian gospel. 'To hell with the devil' is not a message. What does that even mean? Let's go to hell with the devil or send the devil to hell? The message is anything but clear and is so void of the Christian message of repentance, humility and the grace of Christ, one wonders if this band is just putting on 'airs' when they state they are preachers of the gospel. We call these kinds of silly messages, 7/11 songs. Seven words repeated 11 times. Which is pretty much what this 'christian' lyrics does. It's repetitive, vacuous nature, along with the hard core, screaming guitars and grinding bass and multi-syncopated rhythms, put the brain in a semi hypnotic alpha rhythm where human beings are incapable of rendering intelligent decisions for God. It's a circus and God has become the clown. The Holiness, purity and reverence that surrounds God in heaven is completely bypassed for the hedonistic, self indulgent, crass experience that is metal music.
