I just saw the movie yesterday, and I have to say, although he might look nuts in some of the clips, I feel that he was just truly in love with the species. Plus, I saw a lot of respect of him to mother nature itself and to other animals. It might have been crazy how he was so close to them, yet he tried to take a message about stop hurting them. Plus, in the movie they said that there were no poachers yet I read just today that after he died there was some news about bears being hunt on that area, something that didn't happened during the 13 years that he was there.

Anyone who says that he got what he deserved and glad he is dead n shit. You're part of the reason this man made friends with grizzly bears and foxes over people. You're going to get what you deserve one day too remember that shit. I applaud this guy for the work he had done and the footage he captured. Anyone who has ever experienced a tranquil moment with nature appreciates this man's work. If dying the way he died is the way he truly wanted to go. Then everyone should realize that God liked this man. How many people have you known died the way they wanted to?

Why didn't he just work with a crew that studies grizzly's with protective gear from a safe distance? It's hard to feel sorry for him when he knew all the risks and dangers He died doing what he loved. R.I.P
