@OMGAGOOSE This isn't Ryan singing... he wasn't in the band then. I am proud of them as well. I agree with you about the music changing or progressing. The better you get at your instrument the more avenues you can explore. Creativity has no limit or label! My band played many shows with these guys before they left J-ville. They were and still are amazing musicians!

I like the both the new and old YC. Its pretty cool, I'm like into the hardish punk/rock stuff and I also like pop punk a lot. Plus the violins make it epic. It would have been more awesome if their original lead singer hadn't left and they had recruited Ryan so they could do more punk sounding songs and some more softer ones or combine the two.

I never understand why people bash a group for changing their style. especially yellowcard! I'm so proud of them, they got famous & got over it & never sold out once. just coz the sound changes doesn't make it better or worse - just means they've grown as artists. (well that, & ryan screwed up his vocal chords so he can't strain/scream anymore) you don't write the same way you did in highschool, do you? so why would you play the same way at 23 that you did at 19
