This cover of Pink Floyd's "Time" was released in 2011 on the Pink Floyd tribute double album, A Collection Of Delicate Diamonds: A Tribute To Pink Floyd. I've been working to finish my first video for a Gentle Giant track and when the audio on the Pink Floyd version of this video was muted a few days ago, I immediately thought about replacing the audio with this very, very cool cover. I guess if the classic Pink Floyd track doesn't want the video, I'll go ahead and give it to this cover instead. I only needed to add a few seconds to the original video, other than that, it's exactly the same video I originally created for the Floyd track.

Several great musicians played on this track;

Backing Vocals -- Billy Sherwood

Bass -- Colin Moulding

Drums -- Jay Schellen

Electric Piano [Fender Rhodes] -- David Sancious

Organ -- Billy Sherwood

Rototoms -- Alan White

Sitar -- Robby Krieger

Vocals, Guitar -- Gary Green

Actually thinking about mixing the video up a bit and putting yet another cover version behind it.....why not, it's another great version that some fans might enjoy.....THEN back to work on the Gentle Giant track and others! ;-).

I was going to say I didn't know Gary Green was such a great singer! Nevertheless, it is great to hear him playing - and playing so well. I only wish the rest of the Gentle Giant crew would friggin' wake from their slumbers...

Nice video, but as has been mentioned, the credits are wrong. The lead singer is Billy Sherwood, not Gary Green, and the song originally comes from the tribute album Return To The Dark Side of The Moon, which was released in 2006, not 2011. Billy Sherwood was the one in charge of the album project, so as much as I like Gary Green, I think it would be more appropriate to credit Sherwood as the song's performer.

Love this video. Sad that they took the original version out. But in the future, Brit Floyd is an excellent tribute band for Pink Floyd. ;-)

I've never heard of this guy. I've heard Pink Floyd's version and I love it! But I've never heard of Gary Green.

There was another tribute, "Return to the Dark Side of the Moon" that came out in 2007 or 8. Sounds very similar to this. It featured Rick Wakeman, Dwiezel Zappa and many i can't remember. The version of "The Great Gig in the Sky" was really good. Might want to check it out.

of course all of us, including the creator of this video love the original the most. The problem is the copywriter won't let any of us make videos with their music. They block it or mute it.
