Ripper Owens was and is the best replacement singer for Rob Halford I've ever heard. Unfortunately, the music and lyrics were just not the same without Halford and sounded like generic metal to me.

Whether or not Tim is better is all your opinions, but you cannot deny that he has some sick Kung Fu moves.

I don't think so cause if u did u wouldn't be posting shit like this tim cant even say the word painkiller like halford does that's why he makes the crowd say his line -.-

Great, but not an easy shoe to fill.

Fuck yeah dude! Not many people can pull this song off. The golden star goes to Rob Halford of course, for making the map and key, but Ripper is by far the best replacement to fill those iconic shoes I have seen to date. I couldn't hit those notes with my balls in a vice.

1:18 Holy Shit. I mean, seriously. Ripper Owens has to be the most underrated metal vocalist of all time by this point.

I totally agree with you. BTW this was shot in Budapest, Hungary and the rest of the musicians are all hungarians from local bands. You have to give it to them, they are really spot on as well, specially the solo.

That's because it's in lower pitch when Ripper sings it. But yeah, nowdays Ripper does it better, but back in the early 90's there are some great versions of Halford doing it the way only he can ^^

Thanks for sharing opinion. I´ll listen to it. Last night after Kiss´show I saw a billboard in the street advertinsing Ripper´s show on Dec 13th. I´ll probably come.

I think "The Glorious Burden" with Iced Earth a great album, all the rest I have to agree with you.

Agreed. Nevertheless, I find his work in other bands a bit weak. He came to Argentina in 2001 with Judas and gave an asskicking performance. I was astonished. And after he left I´ve been listening to his different stuff. However, I don´t like it that much. That´s my personal opinion

It's not his fault Halford came back and John from Iced Earth is a total control freak that allows no one else to contribute to the band.
