Heard "Don't take the girl" recently for 1st time since the 90s (my big bro & I had a running joke about it even before Cledus T Judd parodied it) & it led me here.scary just how fitting this is right now. There's a book ("Outlander") sitting on my coffee table marked at chapter 17 (not 21, but close) by a love note (not a 2 of hearts but again, close enough) Id given someone special, and it all sunk in at once. :( could've used more love notes & less a-holery, yeah? ;-s ~"Tonto Koibito"

My Aunt Darlene died 10/1/2006 from Breast Cancer of the bone she was 48, this song always makes me think of my Uncle Bill because this is what he would always say. She is with God now and we will see her again one day.

I miss you sis! It wasn't an unfinished book, it was an unfinished afghan, yellow & white, she was crocheting for me as a Christmas gift. Breast cancer took her Nov. 11, 1988 at 38 years old. Dec. 25, 1988, my mom pulled a gift from under her tree, the tag said To Reese From Linda in her handwriting. Inside was the afghan & a letter she wrote to me a week before she died. My aunt had finished crocheting it. I have never had a gift mean so much to me. I will never let that afghan or that letter go.
