At the 2012 Melbourne Festival Tim Draxl performed a tribute show to the trumpeter, singer and cool jazz's pin-up boy Chet Baker, whose tragic heroin addiction played havoc with his playing and cut short a promising career. Tim Draxl has been touring his tribute show 'Freeway: The Chet Baker Journey' and performed songs from it as part of a concert held at the ABC Southbank Centre Foyer during the Melbourne Festival.
