I agree with the witchdoctor - I've always loved Tim and even though I try to listen to other artists, I keep coming back for more. His haunting voice, on the verge of tears.....

intriguing comment -- what do you mean by "recklessness?"

. I miss Jeff since he was actually still alive in my lifetime and wish I could have seen him when he sang in my state many years ago. :) It was after listening to Jeff Buckley I discovered his father had been a folk singer as well so I went straight to CDGB's and bought some of his albums. I sold them and regret it to this day!

Musical perfection...loved him from the start...and his son....chk out Aussie artist Goyte...born in Belgium raised in Oz so we claim him...'Someone I used to know'...is a future classic...he's brilliant...

@sneakyguru I just checked out the song that you recommenced and I have to say, I'm digging it :) It is a brilliant refrain from the commercial nonsense of today. I'm sure artists like Tim would appreciate musicians still willing to express what's on the inside and bring it into the world.

@witchdoctor66 This is so true - though there're many gifted artists out there, nothing quite compares to TB. I aways feel like a music "snob" when I find myself "missing" something from others that I like, but just can't come to love immediately like I did with TB. I have found one exception recently in the song, Find Your Way by Pablo Blaqk. This guy is at the very early stages of what I predict will be huge success. Not on Buckley's level, but worth checking out!

After you listen to Buckley, nothing else on Earth will suffice.

I was a Buckley freak from the start. I think the song "Driftin'," from the Album "Lorca," is his masterpiece.

Buckleys albums is a rollercoaster traveling along in a wide range of music styles and emotional fabrics. I appreciate them all, but here is where I like him the most. I believe hes the most underrated artist of the western world, next to Nick Drake.
