@Sabinefrost you nailed it right on the head! Music and bands specifically has always progressed as they discovered different sounds and rhythms. Where would we be today if every band has always stuck to the sound they explored while first starting out? There would be no progression forward. With each new album bands always experiment with new sound, good bands anyway. Where would Social D be if every one of their albums sounded like Mommy's Little Monster? Where would Rancid be if every album sounded like "Rancid"? Where would Green Day be if every album sounded like 1,039 Smoothed Out Happy Hours? There is no such thing as selling out, only the development and progression of music which you, personally, may or may not like, which may, or may not, sound good to your particular taste within a genre.

@camisadokiller666 AFI did sell out, actually. They changed styles, then Davey Havok said in an interview, "When we were playing punk, we sucked". Betraying your roots IS selling out. And there's not much worse than loving an artists work, just to later have him call it shit. It's a slap in the face to fans that were there from the start. The success is fine, developing as a band is also, but he didn't need to trash the early stuff.

Some people are so fucking stupid. Tiger Army and AFI didnt sell out, they became SUCCESSFUL. If you're not a fan, dont listen to it, but dont come on here accusing bands of selling out just because they've matured and moved forward. Epic band, can't wait to get the album.

I have been a Tiger army fan since I was first introduced to their Self titled, and have loved them ever since...I was not a HUGE fan of ghost tigers rise but to each his own... They are all tiger army and will all remain that way, because they are not sell outs they are musicians with a sound they like and I love, so STFU if you think they are sell out and listen to the progression from 1-4 and you will see the evolution of what is tiger army is; a Dark, melodic, symphony of amazing music!
