Was there the tiniest of smiles there at the end? 13 year olds are not to be underestimated - such modulation, and taste, and impeccable fingers, etc. Musicality is a talent that takes hold of its chosen ones so strongly so early in life. This young woman is 100+% piano artiste no matter what she plays on any well tuned piano. I am from a piano fam, but myself have become a fan of pre-piano-ancestor string instruments, for example the harp which like the piano also depends on creating string-sounds-music, yet the piano's 'middle-man's string-hammers' even touched ever so lightly produce a mechanical cling-clong sound which cannot ever IMHO compete with he direct-touch-the strings-sound of a harp. what are you talking about? It is average tempo, the phrasing is normal, it has above normal rubato but not an excessive level, there is nothing to indicate it does not flow, why do you think so?^^10 years ago
