He once was a cocksure New Yorker...some people just shouldn't touch smack. John was about to take cyanide laced smack with him to London, together with that Spungen bitch. And as such had his revenge on The Pistols....

@ 1:05 he says "why else you think I did it.." johnny had a red patent leather (real or fake) w/"johnny thunders" in white letters on the back arching over his shoulders, they all had custom ordered red "Nuns shoes" ..come in large sizes naturally.. jerry wore his to first CBGB's gigs

Anarchy was released Nov 26 1976 so import copies probably didn't hit the States until the beginning of December, when the Headbreakers : ) would have already been on tour with the Pistols and the Damned, who were replaced by the Clash after a few gigs.

Anarchy ws in jukeboxin Maxes KC as soon as it was pressed. The first punk 45's though (Ramones) were put in Lydon's hands by Peter Dougherty, way before they were commerciall dist. (NY city digs & babysitter' for JR) What did """ANARCHY""" sound like to us upon 1st hearing is question; "Uhhh allright...I get it..........."

they had to have heard it from Sylvain it's a long story but MucKlaren wanted the Dolls for the tour and Nolan said NFW also he wanted Syl to play guitar for the Sexes that is his white LP that Jonesy used. Fact i can prove every word of it.

Why is this "owned" by SexPistolsArchives ?

Surprised that they hadn't heard Anarchy In The UK. Copies of the 45 made it over to the States during the time this was taped. Didn't the Damned release the "first" UK Punk 45? Neat Neat Neat / New Rose? Surely these songs got some airplay or were on jukeboxes in NYC.

Anarchy Tour started December 1976. This was at the most 2 or 3 months before that.

no early 76 because david still has his new york dolls hair and johnny already cut his hair short in late 75
