Aha! The intro to Thunder Force 4 is actually a throwback to the original game in the series. Nice! I hadn't seen this version before; I was lucky enough to somehow dig up a copy from one of Japan's 8-bit home computers (found the original Herzog as well). It wasn't very memorable, but this version looks a lot more playable, kind of like a mashup of Xevious and Time Pilot.

es el principio de una gran saga, el thunder force 2 mejoro bastante el sistema a este y bueno, la tercera y cuarta parte ya son lo mas de lo mas / creo que en la 4 parte no hay un matamarcianos que se le pueda comparar con perdon de la saga gradius

Honestamente hay que darle credito a Thunder Force II, ya que implemento el sistema de armas tan conocido en la serie. Pero eso si que sin duda fueron grandes pasos de un juego a otro.
