Were they really underrated? I just get the impression that they were a big fish in a small pond at first, then when they moved onto bigger things, they were just another in a long line of mediocre bands from the 90's.

@catch22punk They had a tough time, Electra treated them pretty bad.. sending them on tours to the middle of nowhere. Good band, good guys, crap luck!!

These guys were an oddly unique band. Very underrated, and wrote really good songs - and I'm not even really a fan of this genre of music! Surprising that they never really took off in the States or anything - probably because they were from Canada. I bet if they were from California or Washington State or something they would have had a bigger impact.
