It is awful, in one sense, but it's the Throwing Muses in an embryonic state, they were 16! You don't get to 'Hate my way' without doing some awful bonkers screeching firs,t I guess. That's why it's sacred.....I happen to think the Beatles are crap, safe anemic mawkish crap, but I appreciate their importance.
