It doesn't suck at all. If you had a wide taste for different kinds of music you'd enjoy all of Thrice like I do. It's ignorant and boring to keep under 1 style forever. It's VERY natural for a person to have musical tastes shift over time. Me, I can listen and love both ends of the spectrum of Thrice. Their dynamic is what makes them one of the best bands in the world.

I'm pretty sure it's actually a song about the "Invisible Children" in Uganda. Thrice has been working with The IC for years now. It seems as though the song is a mockery of the US government. When members of Congress were approached by IC to try to get US help in Uganda to combat the Lord's Resistance Army, they said they weren't interested. Their reasoning was that there is nothing at stake for the US so we have no reason to be over there (apparently nothing to drill for in Uganda).
