Loved your video, and you come across very cool... Hey I am lots older than you, but I remember when bass players just plunked. Then came the 70's, with Earth Wind and Fire and The Trammps ETC. These guys were revolutionaries, they were some of the first to play bass, almost like a rhythm guitar... I like that. Disco Inferno is a good example.

Thanks for this. most of the bass lessons I have seen on here have been pretty basic. I been playing for most of my life but just got my first bass a couple weeks ago. loving that thing I am!

Great video. So glad I came across this. Jerry the race car driver got me into bass. Stand by me made me showed me that bass needs to help people dance to guitar. And moanin by Charles mingus opened my eyes to the fact that one piece does not finish the puzzle. You need them all. What a humble and beautiful position we play on stage. Long live the low end.

Learned Glide and gatdayam is it tough. Couldn't really get it down until the second day of learning it. Watching you play it helped a bit as well. :)
