What a beautiful voice, and a beautiful man. I have listened to John from the beginning, and will never hear him sing again here on this plane. So much inspiration he gave to so many during his life. God Bless you John in your Heavenly Home.

I grew up listening to John Denver, I went through several difficult years in my teens, leaning on his songs and daydreaming and his voice took me places, I could never travel too, but really imagined. I never thought I would see him in concert, but I did on a summer night in an open air setting, what a vocalist, what a bard, what a poet, I miss him, I would go as far to say, that he is a big part of the reason I write poetry. I can't sing and I never have been adept with music and the its instruments.

I miss his music and the man....John was such an inspiration to me and the way i write. Always from deep within the soul...........Imagine what it would be like if only he was still here. Rest in Peace John.......we will always cherish your music.

Listening to this, took me back in time to my teen years and like many others that have posted, JD was my motivation for learning to play the guitar. I would like to add that he bridged a generation gap between me and my parents as they took me to my first concert to see him in the Summit in Houston. Rest in Peace John and thank you for your gifts of voice, song, and songwriting!
