THIS MOMENT IN TIME was written by Alan Bernstein and Ritchie Adams and recorded by Engelbert Humperdinck. This recording was the second biggest hit for Engelbert following "After The Lovin'", both of which were produced by Joel Diamond. "This Moment In Time" spent two weeks at #1 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart and peaked at #58 on the Billboard pop chart.
Sadly, this was the last lyric ever written by Alan Bernstein (who also co-wrote "After The Lovin'") before he died and was literally written in his hospital bed on a small scrap piece of paper right before he passed.

Oh, i simply love this song and to sing along with it! I only found out about this song because of this Adult Standards radio station that I listened to sometimes when I lived in Montana. I would listen to that station to hear the classic Pop Standard music. This song was played many times (on that radio station) and I could never figure out the name of it till MUCH later on in life. BTW, I think that I have watched TOO many classic movies on the Turner Classic Movies television channel. I know about 90% of these actors and actresses that were in the slideshow. :) 10 years ago
