Adam872 Excellent point. I think that's what makes the melody so tasty, right? A little jazz; a little progressive rock... Not brilliant lyrics, but a solid song that deserves better.

Very well said, I am very stubborn with my music tastes and dont like stuff after the 80s but thirsty mirc restored my faith in modern music, great band with great songs, Im definately a fan.

Yeah, really tasty chord progression in this song. It's what attracted me to the tune in the first place. Well, that and the fantastic chorus.

That is what a hipster would say. If an artist is good, you can feel a connection with them regardless what, ie Alicia Keys, Whitney Houston, John Legend, etc. Popular or not, you should judge it solely by the lyrics and music, not how popular or how many people know it or how only you understand the meaning behind the song. Btw, don't have to pity the insult, the feeling is mutual. :)
