I remember seeing meatloaf on the stairs behind the stage killing a bottle of Jack Daniels...and all the bands guitarists ling up on stage to play cities on flame... i had a view dead center up on the concrete podium... I didn't know til years later that was where Hitler gave his speeches in the 30's... would love to see some pics....30 years went by way too fast!!

I was there and stationed in ferris barricks in Erlangen we had to leave in the middle of Whitesnake my buddy got sick from a bad brat. We were so bumed. twisted Sister was killer, and so was BOC. Its hard to beleive it was 30 years ago. Germany was great.

I knew who'd twisted sister was. But when they came out and had however many thousands of people jumping up and down screaming " I'm a sick mother fucker"I've been a concert junkie every since.

I was there. We drove up from Stuttgart and camped out the night before. It was Twisted Sister, Saxon, Motorhead, Blue Oyster Cult, Thin Lizzy, Meatloaf and Whitesnake. Ozzy was supposed to headline and canceled last minute. It was a great day and concert!
