@ezrhino100 Oh my god sir !..too true ! I have always been a fan of the softer side of lizzy -the folky , bluesy , countryish lizzy ....{same goes with hendrix } ..i mean listin to the track "frankie carroll' ...i still like the heavy stuff ..but i really think lizzy could have been just as great -if not more so not doing heavy rock ! Then again...i put on live and dangerous -and " massacre " massacre's that thought , and think about what i just said and "dont believe a word ' ...er , yeh !

lizzy could have done more country-style shuffles, some pedal steel would have done em some good. i think phil underestimated his inner cowboy. lizzy had a lot in their arsenal.

I'm loving the phaser effect on the guitar. Fighting is my favorite Lizzy album for sure.

@baxill23 Amen. Lizzy was incomparable. I had "Fighting" on 8-track (yes, I'm THAT old) because as a young kid in rural Oregon back in the mid-70s that was the only copy I could find. I eventually got in on vinyl and then CD. I think it's a friggin' masterpiece.

It's a damn shame more people here in America don't appreciate what great f-in music Thin Lizzy did. Better than almost anything we produced over here. The only song that most of us know is The Boys Are Back in Town.... what a damn shame. This is classic!!!!!!
