this has always been my Favorite song from this album since it first came out in 1975. I was 9 yrs old when I first heard this song/ album but had been listening to TL since I was 6yrs old thanks to my sister's ex boyfriend who turned them on to me. Love this version it is so Raw.oh Johnny

!8 år da jeg først hrte denne ten som for meg ble en ny dimensjon inn i hard-rocken, som jeg forlengst var hekta på. Ble og overrasket over at dette bulldozerkompet med den utrolige vokalen og trommene var "Whisky in the Jar" - Thin Lizzy. Johnny er en låt som lite kommer i nærheten av den dag i dag dessverre....selv om den også betyr noe helt spesielt for meg. Og hret mitt som da var skikkelig langt (a là Gorham), har aldri stått høyere til værs....Lynet kunne slått ned....
