Gorgeous recording. If albums were recorded like this now the industry would be so different.

This is my current favourite all time Lizzy track and my favourite track of any band.'Johnny the fox' was my favourite track of 2013. Before that it was 'Leave this town'. Special mentions also to 'Ballad of a hard man' and the whole 'nightlife' album which is shockingly underrated music

This is what Les Pauls and Marshalls were intended to sound like. Holy grail of tone.

Pure diamond drum fill in the beginning, Brian's a swinging master drummer! B)

I also find it sad that radio stations in my country only play Boys are back In Town whenever Thin Lizzy finally get some air time... it's almost like they didn't have other hits.

Ah, ok, thanks for telling, Lizzy sounds great.

I don't understand why this song didn't get much airplay. I love it!

Why is there another version of this song where Lizzy is playing it in a higher key? Did Lizzy record two versions? or did someone just use pitch change software on it?

JAILBREAK dropped in 1976. The Boss Born to Run hit in 1975. This sounds like Philo and Robbo were dropping the needle like millions of others rockin Born to Run back then. Has such a cool Bruce lyrical vibe to it.
