In the old days....I was at Reading in 1983 and taped this off Tommy Vance's Friday Rock Show, this song and "Sun Goes down" which came next really sum up the sadness we all felt about Lizzy capitulating, and also the pain that Heroin must have been causing Phil Lynott. I've never found which album it was on....just "it's an old one...."

Out of all the Sykes/Gorham period this is the best song they did, I think perhaps because it is an 'old;' Lynott song, whatever, Thin Lizzy were/are rock and roll personified and embodied

i know some people give john sykes shit about making lizzy too metal, but they must agree that he is a fucking fantastic guitarist. that 2nd solo is absolutely amazing. this version completely shits all over the original version which was great to start with. heartbreaking to think it all ended so soon after this performance.
