Every one I know who seems to hate Satriani is just simply jealous. I don't know many other guitarists who contributed to music the way he has done, they teach his "pitch axis" at schools for god sake. Man is incredible.

Everyone fawns over how fast someone can go, I point to Satriani in that respect. He's fast, but makes a song sound catchy in other ways... without screaming... well... he DOES scream... but in their respective ways... if you catch what I mean. ;)
