It's not a "Homme" thing. It's a "being in the moment thing" If the band is in the moment and the moment says "play it fast" them you do it. Besides it's the rhythem section that sets the tempo. Great song though

The tempo is a lot faster here (Comparing it to the record). Qotsa does the same live. I wonder if it's a Homme thing.

Yeah, the song is most definitely influenced by Cream, vocals and guitar sound. Homme is great at pulling in his influences and then making it his own. Great tune, and a great CD.

strange brew indeed, but the sound was a LOT heavier last Sunday in Munich and this was the only "blues" or creamy song in the setlist of 15 songs (no encores, nothing zep related, except a mean lean base line) BTW most people in the front were jumping like madmen, I found it REALLY annoying unable to enjoy the music as I had to concentrate on staying on my feet and bashing the teens! :-| old fart alert
